Essentials

In June 2008, after six successful years, ISC was forced to move from its beautiful south-east country location to the west end of Edmonton.  The resulting drop in enrollment forced the school to close in February 2009.

The Campus's One Rule:

ISC operates using One Rule.  Known as the 3 R's, the rule states:

Be respectful, responsible and reasonable to yourself, each other and your surroundings.

Supporting the One Rule are the Campus Agreements, which outline specific policies and procedures.

Benefits to students:
Students and staff have to think about what they're doing rather than simply follow a list of do's and don'ts.

Students and staff are actively involved in creating the policies and procedures that allow the smooth functioning of the Campus.  Campus Agreements may be modified or added to as the need arises.  Campus policies are clear, yet flexible.

Key Concepts
At ISC, there are eight key aspects to the day-to-day operation of the Campus. Each aspect offers students a wide variety of benefits and learning experiences.

Self-Initiated learning

Corporations

Judicial Committee
